How do I deal with my DJI Action 2 when it gets hot?

DJI Action 2 uses aluminum alloy material that allows heat to transfer and tend to dissipate quickly. The Action 2 supports 4K/120fps video recording, and the camera unit is not normal because it is under load during shooting.
Action 2 has a built-in temperature control system. Action 2 automatically displays prompts to stop shooting when the device temperature rises to the set value. The recording automatic shut-off temperature can be selected from two settings (standard: 48 °C (high: 53 °C); The recording automatic shut-off temperature can be adjusted according to the actual usage method and trends.
(*When the Action 2 camera unit is used alone, the recording auto stop temperature refers to the temperature of the camera unit’s frame. When connected to the front touch screen module or power module, the recording automatic shut-off temperature refers to the frame temperature on the module side. 1-2℃ temperature error is allowed)

How to control the temperature rising speed of your device while using the DJI Action 2?

There is a way to lower the video resolution when the DJI Action 2 is to reduce the speed of temperature rising on your device. For example, if you take videos with 1080p (power saving mode), the temperature rising speed of Action 2 will be relatively slow and not too hot.
